  • Similar to our End Table (and a great companion to it as well), the Entry Table is a clean piece of furniture with a bit of a retro flair. The curved corners are accented with slits, filled with walnut inlay, and make the adjacent stripes of the Baltic birch interesting and intriguing to look at.

    Whether you’re putting this in your entryway or in a living space, the storage drawer with Italian-made satin-gold hardware is a great spot to stash items away. The tapered and angled legs give way to a lower shelf that’s as architecturally appealing as it is functional.

  • (01) Baltic Birch & Walnut (or Maple)

    Our furniture is made using a beautiful high-end layered Baltic birch from Columbia Forest Products®. Each of the 13 layers are solid wood, and a thick face of walnut or maple wraps it in rich tones. The Baltic birch is a sustainable product and will be very stable as the seasons change, unlike some solid wood furniture.

    While many furniture makers conceal the edges of the material, we have made it our signature look to highlight the striped layers. Not only does this give a nod to the designers of the mid-century era, it makes every piece by us a work of art, and a unique, one-of-a-kind, creation.

    (02) Drawers and Hardware

    In addition, our high-end drawers complement the simplicity of our furniture. The drawer boxes (what’s behind the drawer face) are made of solid maple with dovetailed joints, soft-close under-mount drawer slides (by Blum®) and custom cut-out handles.

    (03) Finish

    We finish our products with a mixture of pure tung oil, boiled linseed oil and wax. This means less harsh chemicals when we are doing the work, and a safer breathing experience for you. The end result is a durable, water-resistant matte finish that feels like a silky-smooth piece of wood.

    Another benefit to the finish is that it allows for easy repair when scratches happen. Buff out the scratch with a piece of high-grit sandpaper and rub in some Howard Feed-N-Wax® and your piece is as good as new!

  • (01) How do I care for this product?

    Details can be found on our FAQ page. That said, in general, treat the piece with kindness - use coasters, wipe up spills, and don’t put sharp or rough objects on the furniture. A damp cloth is all you need to clean it (definitely no harsh chemicals), and the piece can be refreshed with a bit of furniture wax when needed.

    (02) Does this require assembly?

    No, this piece will arrive fully assembled.

    (03) Can I customize this piece?

    Please reach out to us before ordering. We might be able to customize this piece slightly.

  • The “kerf” refers to the slit in the wood made by the saw blade. Our entry table is created by kerf cutting the Baltic birch layers up to the final veneer, spaced out by 3/16”. Once the slits are made, then we are able to bend the plywood into its final shape, with the result being a seamless one-piece look. The kerfs are then filled with a mixture of walnut sawdust and glue.
