Mid-Century Wood End Table With Optional Drawer in Walnut & Maple

  • Call this mid-century modern piece whatever you like - an end table, a side table, a nightstand, or an accent table. Whatever it is to you, we think you’ll love it.

    Forty-four cuts into a single piece of Baltic birch gives this end table a beautiful and iconic look.

    An optional drawer is available in Baltic birch with under-mount slides along with a sleek custom cutout handle on a walnut (or maple) face. The drawer takes this mid-century end table to a new level and makes it a perfect nightstand.

  • (01) Baltic Birch with Walnut/Maple Face
    Made using a 13-layer solid wood Baltic birch with a walnut or maple face. Baltic birch is a sustainable product and will be stable as the seasons change, unlike other solid wood furniture pieces.

    We have made it our signature look to expose the layers of Baltic birch. Not only does this give a nod to the designers of the mid-century era, it makes every piece a work of art, and a unique, one-of-a-kind, creation.

    (02) Drawers and Hardware
    Made of dovetailed solid maple. Each drawer features soft-close under-mount Blum® slides with six-way adjustments.

    (03) Finish
    Pure Tung Oil, Boiled Linseed Oil, Beeswax, Carnauba Wax. The end result is a durable, water-resistant matte finish that feels like a silky-smooth piece of wood.

  • (01) How do I care for this product?
    Details can be found on our FAQ page.

    In general, use coasters, wipe up spills, and don’t place rough objects on the furniture. A damp cloth is all you need to clean it (no furniture polishes), and the piece can be refreshed with a bit of furniture wax when it feels dry.

    (02) Does this require assembly?
    No. This piece is built fully assembled.

    (03) Can I customize this piece?
    Please reach out to us before ordering. Some customizations may be possible.

  • The cuts that we make to bend the wood are called “kerf cuts”. The “kerf” refers to the thickness of the saw blade, and therefore the slit in the wood made by the blade. Our end tables are created by kerf cutting the layers up to the final veneer. Once the slits are made, we are able to bend the plywood into its final shape, with the result being a seamless one-piece look.
