(01) Baltic Birch with Walnut/Maple Face
Made using a 13-layer solid wood Baltic birch with a walnut or maple face. Baltic birch is a sustainable product and will be stable as the seasons change, unlike other solid wood furniture pieces.

We have made it our signature look to expose the layers of Baltic birch. Not only does this give a nod to the designers of the mid-century era, it makes every piece a work of art, and a unique, one-of-a-kind, creation.

Pure Tung Oil, Boiled Linseed Oil, Beeswax, Carnauba Wax. The end result is a durable, water-resistant matte finish that feels like a silky-smooth piece of wood.

(01) How do I care for this product?

Details can be found on our FAQ page. That said, in general, treat the piece with kindness - don’t drop the item (this one is all glued joints, afterall), wipe up spills, and don’t put sharp or rough objects on the piece. A damp cloth is all you need to clean it (definitely no harsh chemicals), and the piece can be refreshed with a bit of furniture wax when needed.

(02) Does this require assembly?

No, this piece will arrive fully assembled. While it’s not totally fragile, it is all glue joints, so please treat it with care. If the hex does break, the best option is to use superglue on the joint and hold tight until it sets.

(03) How do I hang this item?

The individual wall shelf has a sawtooth picture frame hanger on the back, so all you have to do is drop a nail (not included) into the perfect spot on your wall, and you’ll be all set!
