Modern Wooden Bookcase in Walnut & Maple

  • Geometric Bookcases were a staple of the mid-century era, and we’ve put our own spin on the classic designs, including with our signature edge-grain Baltic birch feet.  Available in 3 sizes, this handmade bookshelf is yours at either 48” x 48”, 60” x 60”, or 72”x72”

    Perfect for your living room, bedroom, dining room, or office, this geometric bookcase has plenty of storage space for your books, your favorite decor items, and of course a vase or two.

  • Small: 48”L x 48”H x 11 ½”D, 70 lbs.
    Medium: 60”L x 60”H x 11 ½”D, 120 lbs.
    Large: 72”L x 72”H x 11 ½”D, 140 lbs.

  • (01) Baltic Birch with Walnut/Maple Face
    Made using a 13-layer solid wood Baltic birch with a walnut or maple face. Baltic birch is a sustainable product and will be stable as the seasons change, unlike other solid wood furniture pieces.

    We have made it our signature look to expose the layers of Baltic birch. Not only does this give a nod to the designers of the mid-century era, it makes every piece a work of art, and a unique, one-of-a-kind, creation.

    (02) Finish
    Pure Tung Oil, Boiled Linseed Oil, Beeswax, Carnauba Wax. The end result is a durable, water-resistant matte finish that feels like a silky-smooth piece of wood.

  • (01) How do I care for this product?

    Details can be found on our FAQ page. That said, in general, treat the piece with kindness - use coasters, wipe up spills, and don’t put sharp or rough objects on the furniture. A damp cloth is all you need to clean it (definitely no harsh chemicals), and the piece can be refreshed with a bit of furniture wax when needed.

    (02) Does this require assembly?

    No. It will be ready to go upon delivery or pickup.

    (03) Can I customize the placement of the shelves?

    Yes, however we’d consider that a custom bookcase and not part of this product line. Reach out to us for pricing on a custom bookcase.
