  • The shape of this piece was derived very organically from sitting with a pencil and paper drawing out ideas. The smooth curves of the wood feel as if it’s a shape you’ve seen in nature, almost as if it’s by accident, yet the design feels fully intentional and modern at the same time.

    In fact, in the middle of the 20th Century, it was often referred to as a Kidney Coffee Table or Kidney Cocktail Table.

    You’ll love having this coffee table in your home, whether it ends up in your living room, your den, or just moving along with you from room to room! It’s modern, retro, and everything in between.

    Decor looks great on the coffee table as well, especially our Tray.

    Choose your wood - we make it in both walnut and maple, and the finish (an oil and wax treatment) leaves it feeling buttery smooth.

  • (01) Baltic Birch with Walnut/Maple Face
    Made using a 13-layer solid wood Baltic birch with a walnut or maple face. Baltic birch is a sustainable product and will be stable as the seasons change, unlike other solid wood furniture pieces.

    We have made it our signature look to expose the layers of Baltic birch. Not only does this give a nod to the designers of the mid-century era, it makes every piece a work of art, and a unique, one-of-a-kind, creation.

    (02) Finish
    Pure Tung Oil, Boiled Linseed Oil, Beeswax, Carnauba Wax. The end result is a durable, water-resistant matte finish that feels like a silky-smooth piece of wood.

  • (01) How do I care for this product?

    Details can be found on our FAQ page. That said, in general, treat the piece with kindness - use coasters, wipe up spills, and don’t put sharp or rough objects on the furniture. A damp cloth is all you need to clean it (definitely no harsh chemicals), and the piece can be refreshed with a bit of furniture wax when needed.

    (02) Does this require assembly?

    No. It will be ready to go upon delivery or pickup.

    (03) Can I customize this piece?
